Today we went out to eat at our favorite cafe again! This time we had to wait in line out the door. Everyone from North Salt Lake that competed in the Salt Lake City Marathon today seemed to stop in to eat after they completed the marathon. While we were waiting we talked about the fact that the Sunshine Cafe should be on the tv show "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives", because it is such a hole in the wall place and it has the most amazing food. Today people were filling the parking lot waiting to get a seat.
After breakfast we went to the rec center in Bountiful where they have an indoor pool for kids. It has an area where they can just play, a lazy river, a big water slide for big kids, a jungle gym in the middle fully equipped with water slides for little people, water cannons and all kinds of other fun water activities. We had a lot of fun, but we didn't bring anything to take pictures with for fear they would get wet. We had a lot of fun. Abigail was scared of the water though. I think she was just tired though. It was past her nap time. She started to warm up a little toward the end, but we had to go home in order for Matt to get ready for work. We plan to take her at least once a week, so that she can get more used to the water. We're also hoping to put her in swimming lessons this summer. We don't want her to be scared of the water when we live in an area with so many pools.
On Monday, I am hoping that we will either go walk around at the Gateway Mall in downtown Salt Lake City or go see the Ann Frank exhibit at the Salt Lake City library. We'll see what happens!!
