Halloween Friends

Today Abigail and I at were just playing and cleaning the house after school when our doorbell rang. It was Abigail's friend, Mack and his mom. They had a plate of Halloween goodies for Abigail. As soon as they walked away from the door Abigail went into the living room and started tearing open the aluminum foil that was covering the plate. When she saw three huge jack-o'-lantern sugar cookies and several candy corn and Tootsie Roll's she exclaimed, "It's my birthday! Mack brought me a surprise." She was so cute and so surprised! I tried to capture her excitement so I turned on my video camera and started asking her what she had, but in the video she wasn't nearly as excited as at first.
